Driver crashes into Through Street home

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) -- A mother is being treated at a local hospital after crashing her car into a home Monday evening.

The incident happened around the 3400 block of Through Street in Chattanooga.

The driver's boyfriend says the 20-year-old woman had just dropped-off their son at the babysitter's when she lost control of her car and crash through the home's foundation.

The boyfriend says they had just purchased the car and the woman was planning to get her license Wednesday.

The homeowner wasn't hurt in the crash, but the driver was taken to Erlanger for a head injury.

Police have not said if any charges will be filed.
