No injuries in morning fire at Southern Adventist University

COLLEGEDALE, TN (WRCB) -- A mid-morning fire on the grounds of Southern Adventist University in Collegedale sent plumes of smoke that could be seen for miles.

The fire broke out near a building housing students and faculty.

One student was reported to have been inside the building at the time the fire broke out, but got out safely. No injuries were reported.

Fire crews extinguished the fire quickly.

Investigators are the scene attempting to discover the cause of the blaze.

No estimate of damages has yet been made.
