Two Alabama arrested on meth possession charges Sunday

HOLLYWOOD, AL (WRCB) -- On Sunday, as a result of a joint investigation between the Jackson County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit and the Hollywood Police Department, two men were arrested on a variety of drug charges.

JCSO Narcotics Investigators obtained a search warrant for a residence on County Road 36 in Hollywood, Alabama which was executed by Sheriff's Deputies and Hollywood Police officers.  

Seized in connection with this search were drug paraphernalia, methamphetamine and components of a meth lab.
Arrested were David Steven Steele, 51, of Hollywood, Alabama and Vernon Douglas Dunn, 50, of Flat Rock, Alabama.  
Both men were charged with Manufacture of a Controlled Substance 1st degree (Methamphetamine), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Both defendants were taken to the Jackson County Jail. Bond has been set at $500 for the Paraphernalia Charge, while bond will be set Monday on the two felony charges.
