UPDATE: Police investigate shooting on Bellview Avenue

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) -- Just after 10:30 p.m. Friday night, Chattanooga Police responded to a shooting at 4216 Bellview Avenue.

Investigators found that 41 year-old Dewey "Tim" Estep had been shot in the head by 27 year-old Michael Lawson.

Estep was taken to Memorial North Park Hospital where he was treated for a non life-threatening wound.

Warrants for Attempted 1^stDegree Murder, Reckless Endangerment, Aggravated Assault, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm have been obtained for Lawson.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Michael Lawson is asked to call the Chattanooga Police Department at 423-698-2525 or CrimeStoppers at 423-698-3333.
