CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) -- Chattanooga Police have named a suspect in a brutal stabbing last week at an E. 20th Street motel.
Police Spokesman Nathan Hartwig says warrants have been issued for the arrest of 23-year-old Michael Orlando Freeman.
Police say Freeman allegedly attacked 33-year-old Tammy Green on March 15, stabbing her multiple times in the neck and head.
Hartwig says CPD's Fugitive Unit has been looking for the suspect, but Freeman manages to escape arrest.
Freeman is described as 5'06" tall and 154 pounds. His
last known address is 1207 Grove Street Court.
The suspect faces charges of attempted 1st degree murder, aggravated assault, attempted rape and kidnapping.
