TRAFFIC: Crash blocks I-75 SB

CHATTANOOGA -

(WRCB) - A significant crash in Interstate 75 has southbound traffic blocked.

Initial reports indicate a multiple vehicle crash near mile marker 10 in the southbound lanes. That's between the Ooltewah exit and Volkswagen Drive exit.

Rescue crews are utilizing the inside northbound lanes to get to the crash site.

TDOT Smartway indicates the Interstate could be blocked until sometime afternoon.
