CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - The team of Steve Rogers and Carl Vickers caught a five-bass limit weighing 21.67 lbs. to win first place and $560 in the March Southern 175 Series bass tournament at Chester Frost Park. Rogers said "we caught fish all day long using a variety of methods".
Anthony Pittman and Jonathan James took over-all big-fish honors with a largemouth bass weighing 6.36 pounds which earned them $410.
This was the first tournament of six for the 2012 season. The Southern 175 series will end its season with a classic in September and the winners will receive a new Tracker bass boat from Island Cove Marine.
