CHATTANOOGA -

(WRCB) – A Chattanooga teen is getting the opportunity to meet his hero, thanks to the Make A Wish Foundation and TAC Air.

Sixteen-year-old De'Marcus is a Brainerd High School student, suffering from a life-threatening medical condition.

De'Marcus wished to meet basketball superstar Michael Jordan.

TAC Air client and pilot David Harris will fly De'Marcus and his family in a private aircraft to and from Charlotte, NC.

Thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, De'Marcus and his family will have three days of free lodging, meals and souvenirs.

In addition the family will get a private tour of the Time Warner Cable Arena, tickets to the Charlotte Bobcats vs. New Jersey Nets game and a private lunch with Michael Jordan where De'Marcus will be able to spend one-on-one time with his idol.

When asked why he chose to meet Michael Jordan as his wish, De'Marcus said, "I think he is an excellent athlete and the best basketball player ever."
