CENTER POINT, SEQUATCHIE COUNTY (WRCB) -- Fire crews were called to a house fire in Sequatchie County Wednesday afternoon.

The call came in around 3:25 p.m. from a home on Horseshoe Road.

A dispatcher says crews with Walden's Ridge and Lone Oak fire departments found heavy smoke coming from the back of the home when they arrived.

The dispatcher says the people living in the home made it out safely, but a firefighter was injured when he slipped on the porch.

An ambulance was called to transport the firefighter. Firefighters say he wasn't seriously injured, and was taken to Erlanger for treatment.

Our photographer on the scene says the fire is out, as crews investigate to determine a cause.
