CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - Here's the latest update on power outages across the Channel 3 viewing area.

EPB: As of 9:00 a.m. Saturday., crews are working to restore power to 800 remaining homes and businesses. That is down from more than 2,300 just 12 hour ago. Most occurring in the areas of Highway 58/Harrison, Lookout Valley, Hamilton/Gunbarrel, Red Bank/Moccasin and Nickajack/Haletown.

Cleveland Utilities: As of 9:45 p.m.,455 customers are without power.

At the peak of the storm, a total of 2,140 customers were without power.

Volunteer Energy Cooperative: As of 9:45 p.m, 1,500 customers are without power due to extensive damage.

Some of the hard hit areas include south Bradley County including the Dalton Pike and Blue Springs areas; Hamilton County including the Apison and McDonald areas and east to Polk County.

Crews are working around the clock to restore outages.

TVA: Early reports from distributors of TVA power indicate that more than 57,000 of their customers are experiencing outages in North Alabama, Western Kentucky and Southeast Tennessee.

All three nuclear sites, two in Soddy-Daisy, one in Athens, Alabama and Watts Bar in Spring City remain safe.
