Cash, guns and meth seized in Rainsville drug raid

RAINESVILLE, AL (WRCB) -- On Saturday, DeKalb County Sheriff's Office, Drug Task Force, Fyffe Police Department, and Rainsville Police Department executed a search warrant at 1135 Browns Chapel Road in Rainsville at the residence of Joshua McCrary.

At the time of the search McCrary, his wife, Katie McCrary, and Wayne Sisk were on scene at the residence.

Once the search was concluded, agents discovered and seized a small amount of methamphetamine, four rifles, three handguns, other drug paraphernalia and $18,400.00 in U.S. currency.

Both Joshua and Katie McCrary were taken into custody.

Sheriff Jimmy Harris stated that this has been as ongoing investigation, and would like to thank the other agencies and departments involved in conducting this search.
