Rossville sex offender arrested

CATOOSA COUNTY, GA. (WRCB) -- A registered sex offender is back behind bars, accused this time of luring a girl from her bus stop.

Joseph Gentry lives on Baylor Lane in Rossville.

Catoosa deputies say he was spotted trying to lure the 10-year-old girl multiple times.

Deputies conducted surveillance and say at one point, the girl ran behind some apartments to get away from him.

Gentry is charged with enticing a child for indecent purposes, and possession of marijuana.
