Tornado Watch ends for TN, NC counties

CHATTANOOGA -

(WRCB) – A Tornado Watch has ended for the Eastern portion of the Channel 3 viewing area in Tennessee and North Carolina.

The Watch was effect until 4:00 p.m. ET, for Polk and Monroe County in Tennessee and Cherokee in North Carolina. But as the storm front continued east, the threat of possible tornadoes moved with it.

The Watch has expired in the Channel 3 viewing area.

    Expect dense fog as you head out this morning.  A fog advisory is in effect until 10am. We saw about 2" of rain at the Chattanooga airport over the weekend, bringing our annual surplus to about 13" above normal.
