UPDATE: Fire Destroys Dade County home

TRENTON, DADE COUNTY (WRCB) – A Trenton home is likely a total loss after it caught fire Thursday night.

Fire crews were called to the home on Workman Drive shortly after 6:30 p.m.

Firefighters with Davis Fire Department and Trenton worked to put out the flames.

Sheriff Patrick Cannon, who lives nearby, tells Channel 3 the home is likely a total loss.

A man was inside the home when the fire started. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
