2nd Place Team Buddy Gross and James MillingsCHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - Darren Nunley and Hensley Powell won the Tennessee Valley Bass Club bass tournament this Saturday on Weiss Lake. A total of 31 boats participated in the tournament. This was the tournament series' fifth event of the season.
The winning team weighed a five-fish limit at 22.58 pounds.
The second-place team of Buddy Gross and James Millings had five fish weighting 19.57 pounds. Third place went to Ray Brodie and Steve Brodie with five bass weighing 16.50 pounds.
Guy Tatum and Jody Casey took big-fish honors with a largemouth bass weighing 6.88 pounds and earned them $310.
