Red Bank commissioners fill board vacancy

RED BANK, HAMILTON COUNTY (WRCB/TFP) – A new face will join the Red Bank board of commissioners.

Tuesday, commissioners voted 3 to 1, selecting Ken Welch for the vacant chair.

Welch was chosen over two other candidates, Michael Tindle and Eddie Pierce.

According to our partners at the Chattanooga Times Free Press, Commissioner Ruth Jeno announced she would not seek re-election this fall.

However, Welch must have his name on the ballot in November to remain on the board.
