Freezing not expected in Tennessee Valley

Posted: Updated:

(WRCB) - We are not looking at any widespread freezing on our roadways as temperatures around the area are staying just above freezing.

The only exception being the Blue Ridge where temps this morning are in the upper 20s/low 30s.

This will be the best bet for patchy ice on the roads.

Other isolated spots on the plateau may also see some patchy ice, but you won't see much.

Light rain will continue on and off through the day with temps getting into the upper 40s.  Wednesday will actually be warm and dry as skies clear out, and we see our highs climbing into the low to mid 60s.
