Recent arrest solves multiple theft cases in Whitfield County

WHITFIELD COUNTY, GA (WRCB) - Three arrests in Whitfield County may have solved more than 50 theft cases.

Officers say Blake Duarte, Russell Hyde and Samuel Whitt broke into as many as 50 vehicles parked in driveways.

The trio allegedly stole many items from the cars including credit cards that were later used by the suspects.

Officers say they're also responsible for stealing at least five vehicles.

They all face theft charges.
