(WRCB) - Don't put the winter clothes away just yet! A cold front moving into the Tennessee Valley will bring increasing clouds through the afternoon with a few light showers developing into the evening hours.
We may see that transition into light snowfall overnight into Saturday morning, but any accumulations would be limited to the plateau and the Blue Ridge Mountains.
In those higher elevations we may see .50"-1.00" of snow on the ground.
Cold, dry air will filter in through the day Saturday with highs only reaching about 40 degrees both Saturday and Sunday.
Lows Sunday and Monday will drop into the upper 10s and low 20s.
