(WRCB) - Cleveland Police have identified the man whose burned body was discovered by firefighters Thursday.
Police Spokeswoman Evie West tells Channel 3 the body of 60-year-old Larry Wright was found around 9:00 p.m. in a burning apartment at 1513 Blount Avenue, off South Lee Highway.
Officers were called to the apartment on report of heavy smoke coming from inside.
Cleveland Firefighters extinguished the flames in the apartment and found Wright's body in the bedroom.
Fire investigators were able to determine the fire started on the bed where Wright was found.
West says the exact cause of death is unknown.
