CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) -- McCallie solidified its standing atop the Division II rankings by becoming a unanimous No. 1 in the latest Tennessee Associated Press Prep Poll released Monday.

The Blue Tornado (20-1), received all 17 possible first-place votes after surviving a scare from rival Baylor for the second time in as many weeks. McCallie has been atop the Division II boys rankings since the poll debuted in early January.

McCallie remains the only Chattanooga-area team in boys poll.

Girls Prep, Bradley Central and McMinn Central held onto spots in the girls top ten for a fifth straight week.

GPS (19-4) remains No. 2 in Division II, while Bradley Central (25-1) kept its No. 5 spot in Class AAA. McMinn Central (17-7) dropped two spots to ninth in the latest AA poll.
