TIFTONIA, Tenn. (WRCB) -- The stage is set for a first-place showdown Friday night in Tiftonia.
William Long scored 21 points to lead Lookout Valley to a 58-46 win over visiting South Pittsburg on Tuesday night.
The victory keeps the Yellow Jackets (18-5, 8-1 in District 5-A) in a first-place tie atop the district standings with Van Buren County. Van Buren County, who beat Marion County 84-57 on Tuesday, will visit Lookout Valley on Friday night.
Lookout Valley took a six-point lead at the end of the first period and pushed it to double digits in the second before cruising to the win.
Demetric Johnson led the Pirates with 18 points.
