KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Trae Golden, Tennessee's leading scorer, has undergone a surgical procedure to correct a minor nasal fracture.
Golden, a sophomore point guard, is expected to return to practice Saturday and should be cleared to play in Tennessee's home game Monday against Chattanooga.
He is averaging 13 points a game in the Volunteers' well-balanced offense.
The school said in a news release that the procedure was done Friday. The injury occurred in practice Dec. 16.
