Lookouts' coaching staff to remain intact

Posted: Updated:

LOS ANGELES (WRCB/Dodgers) -- The Los Angeles Dodgers announced Wednesday their Double-A affiliate in Chattanooga will have a very familiar look in the dugout in 2012.

The Lookouts' entire coaching staff will remain intact, headed by manager Carlos Subero.

Subero, who will be entering his fourth year with the Dodgers and third in Chatanooga, led the Lookouts to a 77-62 overall mark in 2011 and a spot in the Southern League playoffs after winning the North Division's second-half title.

Franklin Stubbs will return for a second season as hitting coach after helping the Lookouts tie for the Southern League lead with 705 runs scored and lead the circuit with a .444 team slugging percentage last season.

Chuck Crim will lead the pitching staff for a third straight year. Lookouts' pitchers topped the league with a 3.66 team ERA and 1,103 strikeouts in 2011. Four of Crim's Chattanooga hurlers made the jump to the Majors a year ago.
