BETHLEHEM, Ga. (AP) - Workers and volunteers in the north Georgia town of Bethlehem have put the town's coveted postmark on about 100,000 Christmas cards.

Fox 5 Atlanta reports ( the post office processed about 123,000 cards last year from people who ship them from all over the world.

Bethlehem Post Master Ada Czajkowski said the post office takes pride in its postmark.

Dani Wright of Watkinsville is among those getting the postmark this year. Wright tries to add a new element to Christmas cards every year, and had run out of things to do "so I thought, why not send them from Bethlehem?"
