GPS tops NW Whitfield in border battle

TUNNEL HILL, Ga. (WRCB) -- Auburn signee Chadarryl Clay scored 18 points to lead Girls Preparatory School to a 72-54 win on the road at Northwest Whitfield on Friday night in an interstate battle between local girls basketball powers.

All five starters scored in double figures for the Bruisers, who improved to 9-1 overall on the year.

GPS led by 16 at the half and pushed the lead to 20 at the end of three quarters.

Carley Fetzer led the Lady Bruins (5-4) with 25 points.
