Auburn hoping bowl game answers QB questions
AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Auburn coach Gene Chizik says the quarterback pecking order hasn't changed.
Freshman Kiehl Frazier might still have an opening to challenge Clint Moseley for the starting job in the Chick-fil-A Bowl against Virginia. The winner would likely gain front-runner status for next season.
Moseley started the final five games after replacing Barrett Trotter, but has had three interceptions returned for touchdowns.
Frazier has been mostly used in a wildcat role, but Chizik says he's getting more practice time in the regular offense "because he understands it better."
He saw significant action in the regular-season finale against Alabama but didn't complete either one of his attempts and has just 34 passing yards. Moseley passed for just 62 yards and a pick.
