Henshaw and Porter win T.V.B.C. bass tourney

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - Thomas Henshaw and Trevor Porter won the Tennessee Valley Bass Club bass tournament this Saturday on Lake Nickajack. A total of 35 boats participated in the tournament. This was the tournament series' third event of the year.

The winning team weighed a five-fish limit at 19.87 pounds.

The second-place team of Dale Soloman and Ed Riklefs had five fish weighting 19.46 pounds. Third place went to David Brockman and Kevin Stone with five bass weighing 18.66 pounds.

Henshaw and Porter were double winners. They also won the Tow Boat US top finisher award which earned them an extra $100.

Brad Harmon and John Biffle took big-fish honors with a monster largemouth bass weighing 8.67 pounds and earned them $350.
