CHATTANOOGA (WRCB)-- A Market Street club is under investigation, following a large fight Sunday morning that resulted in gunshots.

Police Sergeant Jerri Weary tells Channel 3, officers responded to the Market Street area after one of their own spotted a fight outside of Club Fire and Ice around 1:30 a.m.

Weary says multiple fight broke out along Market Street, and an even larger fight erupted inside the club where shots were fired, and tables, chairs, and bottles were being thrown.

Additional officers were called to the scene from around town.

Weary says four people were arrested, including Marcus L. Jones, Aaron Mitchell, and Christopher Penn for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

She says an employee of the club, Adam Alejandro, was hit in the head with a bar stool as a security guard and patron were fighting. He later received stitches.

Weary says the City Regulatory Bureau is working with officials to address safety issues associated with the club.

An investigation of Sunday's incident, and similar events at Fire and Ice, will take place to determine if the club poses a threat to public safety.
