Security guard shot following teen party
CHATTANOOGA (WRCB)-- Chattanooga police are investigating a shooting Sunday morning that ended a teen party and sent a security guard to the hospital.
Police Sergeant Jerri Weary tells Channel 3, 44-year-old Tracy L. Beene was shot in his chest and leg while trying to break up several fights among teenagers after a party.
Weary says police were unable to find Beene when they first arrived to the scene near the 2100 block of Dodson Avenue.
Police later learned Beene was taken to a local hospital in a personal vehicle.
Weary says police are still gathering suspect information in the case.
She says Beene's current condition is unknown.
