Teen arrested after standoff with police

SCOTTSBORO, JACKSON CO., AL (WRCB) - In Jackson County, Alabama, a teenager is behind bars following a standoff with Scottsboro police.

The teen was apparently upset about a family argument.

Police say he had a gun and pointed it at a neighbor.

It took more than an hour to convince the teen to put down his gun and surrender.

He's charged with reckless endangerment and menacing.
