Former Chattanooga priest sentenced

KNOXVILLE (WRCB) - A former Chattanooga priest is sentenced to 35-years in prison.

Bill Casey was convicted of child rape in July.

He's been in jail ever since.

He began sexually abusing an alter boy shortly after becoming a priest in Kingsport, in the 1970's.

Casey was an associate pastor at Saints Peter and Paul in the late 60's and early 70's
