Meigs Co. leaders hoping to draw in more business

MEIGS CO., TN (WRCB) Meigs County leaders hope a few upgrades will attract more businesses.

The state has awarded the county a $400,000 community development block grant to make sewer system improvements.

Leaders say they hope the proper infrastructure will create a friendlier business environment.

They hope improvements will encourage existing businesses to expand and future companies to relocate or invest in Meigs County.
