Car crashes into apartment building

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - A car goes crashing into an apartment complex Sunday night causing thousands in damages.

The gaping hole in a building at the Cromwell Hills Apartment complex was a nightmare for one Chattanooga family.

Witnesses at the scene say the driver of a Ford Taurus barreled through the home.

Police at the scene called out a wrecker to remove the car.

We are told the driver of the car was not hurt and no one was home.
