CHATTANOOGA (WRCB)-- Chattanooga police are investigating a shooting on E. 16th Street, Sunday.

Police Sergeant Jerri Weary tells Channel 3, a 36-year-old man was shot in the shoulder around the 400 block of E. 16th Street.

The victim told police, three men in their 20s robbed him of cash and shot him in the shoulder before fleeing in a light blue Ford pickup. 

Witnesses told police they saw two suspects in the area at the time.

Investigators are following up on possible suspect leads, and no arrests have been made at this time.

Weary says the victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries and is expected to be released.
