DALTON (WRCB) - Thanks to a generous donation, kids of all abilities will have a place to become athletes in North Georgia.

An anonymous donor has given $65,000 to the Whitfield Miracle League.

The donation has helped the organization reach its goal of $350,000 to build the "Miracle Field" at Westside Park.

The field will be made of turf that allows people with wheelchairs and walkers to glide across it.

The bases will be painted on the field, so players can move over them.
