Murder suspect out on probation for previous crime

APISON, HAMILTON CO., TN (WRCB) - A man charged with murder in Apison was on probation for a previous assault.

Court records show Bernard Lalone was convicted of assault in March, and was on probation when he was arrested Thursday.

Two others are charged with conspiracy.

The Sheriff's Office believes Lalone murdered Christian Sosa Wednesday night.

Meghan Bennett was shot and survived.

Lalone will be in court next week.
