UPDATE 3: "Barricade situation" on Fagan St. ends with arrest
CHATTANOOGA (WRCB)-- Eyewitness News has learned the Chattanooga SWAT Team was called to an incident on Fagan Street.
Police Sergeant Jerri Weary says police and SWAT team members were called to the scene of a "barricade situation".
After more than two hours, the suspect came out of the home, on his own, and was taken into custody.
The suspect is 22 year old Deunta Curtis. He is wanted in connection to a homicide in Calhoun, Georgia.
Police received word that Curtis was at a home in the 4000 block of Fagan Street and West 42nd Street.
Two others have been arrested in connection with the homicide, which is believed to be drug related.
Channel 3 Reporter Matt Barbour says dozens of cop cars, a fire truck, and ambulance were outside the home, where police were negotiating with Curtis inside via loud speaker.
