Occupy Chattanooga to sit in at city council

Posted: Updated:

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - Occupy Chattanooga will head to city council Tuesday night.

The local movement intends to urge the city council to follow the example of cities like Irvine in Orange County, Ca, whose city council pledged to support the local movement and defend their occupation as a form of free speech.

Dozens of people demonstrated outside the Walden Club where Speaker of the House John Boehner was the guest at a fundraiser for Chuck Fleischmann.

Occupy Chattanooga has called for those interested in participating in a local occupy protest to attend the meeting and support their efforts.
