Cracker Barrel unveils its first EV fast charging station in TN

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) – Cracker Barrel has set up its first electric vehicle fast charging station in Tennessee.

Senator Lamar Alexander, as well as executives with the popular Tennessee-based chain restaurant, was on hand for the unveiling in Lebanon Monday.

It's the first in Cracker Barrel's plan to install more than a dozen fast charging stations at locations throughout Middle and East Tennessee.

The fast charging stations can recharge and electric vehicle to 80 percent power within 30 minutes.

The company expects to have all of their electric vehicle charging stations set up by the end of November.

    For the third straight year, Hamilton County School Board members have given their Superintendent an "above average" report card.
