Fatal accident in Gordon County

GORDON CO., GA (WRCB) - An elderly woman died in a crash in North Georgia.

It happened Sunday afternoon on Highway 53 in Gordon County.

Investigators say 82-year-old Amanda Hinton died when she crashed into a car.

Eyewitnesses said her car drifted into the opposite lanes.

A third car crashed while trying to avoid the wreck.
