JASPER, MARION COUNTY (WRCB)-- A one-car crash in Jasper has claimed the lives of four men Sunday morning.
Tennessee Highway Patrol Spokeswoman Dalya Qualls tells Channel 3 the wreck happened on Highway 27 shortly after midnight.
She says the driver, 42-year-old Terry Alder Sr., was traveling at a high rate of speed when he left the roadway and over-corrected.
The 1995 Ford Mustang flipped multiple times, ejecting the driver and both backseat passengers.
Investigators say Terry Alder Sr., along with 21-year-old Terry Alder Jr., 48-year-old Barry Wilson, and 48-year-old Victor Poe were pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident report shows Alder Jr. was the only one wearing a seatbelt.
It also states drugs and alcohol were not contributing factors.
