
CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - The Chattanooga Bass Association is making preparations to hold their 2011 season classic event October 29th and 30th . Anglers will be competing for an estimated payout of over $50,000. The CBA is an open tournament organization intended to provide a competitive opportunity for anglers to enjoy the sport of competitive bass fishing.
Congratulations are in order for some of the 2011 C.B.A. participants.
The team of Brandon Roop and Brent Tharpe were the 2011 point champions.
The Soddy Custom Tackle big fish of the season went to the team of Phillip Ledford and Jack Suites. The fish was a largemouth that weighed 10.02# and was worth $500.00.
The New Team of the Year award went to Phillip Ledford and Jack Suites. They had a great year including one tournament win. The highest finishing new team in the points won a $500.00 prize courtesy of 84 Lumber.
The Youth Team of the Year award went to Jim McClanahan and Colby Truelove
