LIVELINES: DENTAL CALLS
Your little ghosts and goblins may be getting ready for a scary Halloween, but the spookiest place for trick or treaters can end up being in their mouth, filled with cavities.
Dr. Elenora Woods was our guest this morning. She brought examples of what to eat and what not to eat when it comes to preventing cavities.
Dr. Woods said kids should avoid the sticky candy like taffy and twizzlers, but chocolate that melts is not as bad, and things like raisins and fruit are the best choices.
Dr. Woods also talked about an upcoming event to celebrate Halloween, but also provide valuable information for adults as well when it comes to issues like health and also the new voter id law.
