ATLANTA (AP) - Governor Nathan Deal is embarking on a trade mission to Asia.
The governor, his wife and members of his economic development team will visit South Korea and China. They're set to leave Georgia Friday and return the following Saturday.
Deal called the Asian countries "two of the world's most dynamic economies" and said they hold "a myriad of opportunities for Georgia."
In South Korea, Deal will meet with Kia Chairman Mong-koo Chung and senior officials of Kia Motors at the company's global headquarters. Kia has a plant in west Georgia.
The Georgia delegation will then fly to Beijing, where the governor will attend the U.S.-China Governors Forum.
