Cleveland Police officer fired

CLEVELAND (WRCB) - Eyewitness News has learned a Cleveland Police Sergeant was fired, for improper handling of evidence.

A police spokesperson says Sergeant Carla Jackson may have put the case in jeopardy, but they can't say anything more because the case is still in court.

Sergeant Jackson had been with the Cleveland Police Department since 1992.
