GORDON COUNTY (WRCB) - Two home invasion suspects are in Tennessee hospitals after police say they tied a woman up, robbed her, and crashed her car.

The Gordon County Sheriff Office was called to a home on Fite Bend Road Wednesday evening after reports of a home invasion.

The woman who lives in the home told officers two masked men broke into the home. The two armed men demanded money and tied the woman up with electrical cord. She says one of the men fired a shot into the ceiling to scare her.

After ransacking the home, the two left with a computer, financial cards, and cash. One of the men left in a dark SUV, the other got away in the victim's car.

The woman's husband returned home to find his wife and called 911.

Hours later the woman's stolen car was spotted in Bradley County. The driver crashed following a high speed chase and both suspects were taken into custody. Firearms and evidence found inside the stolen car link the two men to the robbery.

According to Gordon County Sheriff's Office, the two suspects are identified as 25-year-old Jackie Camper of East Ridge and 29-year-old Augustin Hernandez of Dalton, Georgia. Both men were injured in the crash and taken to local hospitals.

Camper and Hernandez face a long list of charges including armed robbery , false imprisonment, aggravated assault, and burglary.

The Sheriff's Office is working to extradite the men to Gordon County.
