RED BANK, HAMILTON COUNTY (WRCB)-- A death investigation is underway in the city of Red Bank.

Dan Knight with the Red Bank Police Department says officers responded to the home at 3710 Redding Road Saturday morning around 8:00 on a call of a possible DOA.

Knight says when officers arrived, they found evidence of forced entry. Officers discovered a body of an unidentified party.

Knight says investigators have determined the death was a result of an apparent robbery, and three persons of interest have been detained for questioning.

One neighbor says she witnessed authorities carrying a "body-bag" from the home. She also says investigators were combing the street looking in ditches and trash cans for evidence Saturday morning.

Red Bank resident Tina Smith says news of what may have happened, spread quickly throughout the community, saying, "We stopped at a yard sale down the road here and the lady made a comment that somebody was murdered in this house. It's just really, very shocking."

Knight says more information will be released once it becomes available.
