Vols, Dawgs Oct. 1 game times set

Vols to kick at 12:30pm vs. Buffalo
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -
Tennessee's Oct. 1 home meeting with Buffalo has been scheduled for a 12:30 p.m. Eastern kickoff.

The game will be televised regionally on CSS.

The Volunteers (2-1) are 5-0 against current members of the Mid-American Conference but have never faced the Bulls (1-2).

Georgia-Mississippi State to start at noon
ATHENS, Ga. (UGA) --
Georgia's Oct. 1 home meeting with Mississippi State has been for a 12:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

The game will be televised regionally by Fox Sports Network South, marking Georgia's first appearance on FSN this season.

The start times were announced by the SEC Monday afternoon.

A kickoff time for Alabama's Oct. 1 game at Florida has not yet been decided. The game will start at either 12:00 p.m. ET and be televised on ESPN, or it will start at 3:30 p.m. ET or 8:00 p.m. ET and be televised by CBS.
