PIKEVILLE, BLEDSOE COUNTY (WRCB)-- A Bledsoe County High School football player has been taken off life support.

It was more than a week ago when 17-year-old Kainen Boring collapsed after being tackled at football practice.

He suffered from a pre-existing condition known as Arteriovenous Malformation, or A.V.M.

As a result, a cluster of blood vessels on his brain erupted.

His parents decided to donate his organs after doctors detected no brain activity.

The family will hold Kainen's viewing Monday at Putman Reed Funeral Home in Pikeville, from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Central time.

Kainen's service will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 CDT in the Bledsoe County High School gymnasium.
